Field Technician - Grande Prairie
Rheaume Engineering Inc. is seeking a full-time Field Technician to join our team. Rheaume is an Alberta-based engineering, procurement, and construction firm founded in 2005. What you’ll do:
- Perform field verification and as-building site visits
- Participate in design reviews, model reviews, and HAZOPs with the client and engineering team
- Work with others to develop plot plans, PFDs, and P&IDs
- Prepare PVF and instrument BOMs
- Prepare work packages for field operations and fabrication/construction services
- Provide input into operability, constructability, and operational plant trouble shooting
- Prepare data-sheets, specifications, and RFPs for equipment to be purchased
- Work with procurement personnel to purchase and expedite equipment
- Review vendor drawings and documentation
Who you are:
- 5+ years of experience with oil and gas facilities
- Hard worker, detaile oriented, problem solver
- Ability to work on multiple project deadlines simultaneously
- Effective communicator: both written and oral
- Adaptable to fluctuating hours and workload, driven by project needs
- Currently residing in North America and willing to relocate to Grande Prairie, Alberta

Compensation:
Either employee or contractor status may be considered for this role. Rheaume has a competitive, multi-faceted compensation plan including a competitive hourly rate based on experience and education, health and dental benefits, and RRSP matching.
